Sunday 2nd February 2025 10:30 - 15:00 The Green House Hotel | Bournemouth Unwind, explore, and awaken your creative side in this relaxing all day watercolour workshop designed for beginners and those that simply enjoy watercolours. Set at a cosy venue in Bournemouth, this 4 and a half hour experience is all about discovering the joy of watercolour painting in a calming, supportive environment. Our day will begin with a warm welcome and an introduction to the essentials of watercolour, covering everything from brush techniques to colour mixing. Under the guidance of Chloe, you’ll learn how to create beautiful washes, build layers, and add fine details. Each step is designed to help you experiment, enjoy, and find your own artistic voice. By midday, we’ll pause for a buffet lunch. This is a chance to relax, connect with fellow participants, and soak in the creative energy of the day. Feel free to rest your paint brush, or continue free painting as you eat. After lunch, we’ll dive back in with guided projects with a subtle winter theme, giving you the chance to apply the techniques you’ve learned to your own creations. Whether you’re painting a frosty landscape, snowy trees, or abstract designs, the focus is on enjoying the process, letting go of perfection, and having fun with colour. What’s Included: -All art supplies: paints, brushes, paper, and palettes -Tea and coffee all day -3 snacks -Sandwich lunch -Hands-on instruction and personalised guidance -Your artwork printed on to 5 greeting cards -Your own watercolour beginners kit and watercolour travel pad to take home -A certificate for attending the day - qualifying you for my intermediate classes. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with newfound confidence, a collection of your own watercolour pieces, your own travel watercolour kit, a certificate (qualifying you for my intermediate classes) and a deeper appreciation for this beautiful art form. Cancellation Policy
Workshop Registration & Payment - All workshops require advance registration. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. - Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. - Payments can be made online via our website Cancellations & Refunds - If you need to cancel your registration, a full refund will be provided if cancellation is made at least 14 days before the workshop date - email chloe@papersbymae.co.uk. - Cancellations made within 14 days of the workshop are non-refundable. However, you may transfer your spot to someone else. - In the event of insufficient registrations or unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the workshop. In this case, participants will receive a full refund. Arrival & Punctuality - Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the start of the workshop to allow time for settling in. Workshops will start promptly at the scheduled time. - Late arrivals may miss important instructions and disrupt the session. Materials & Tools - All materials and tools required for the workshop will be provided unless stated otherwise. - Please handle all tools and materials with care. Any damages to equipment caused by misuse may incur a charge. Safety & Conduct - For safety reasons, please follow all instructions given by the instructor. - Workshops are intended to be a friendly, inclusive, and creative environment. We ask that all participants respect each other and the instructor during the session. Photography & Media - We may take photographs or videos during the workshop for promotional purposes. By attending, you agree to appear in these images unless you inform us otherwise before the workshop begins. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance so we can accommodate your needs. - Please note that we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. Custom Orders - If the workshop includes custom orders (e.g., professionally printed cards), orders will be processed after the workshop, with estimated delivery times provided at the event. - Bulk orders can be placed, and pricing will be discussed during or after the workshop. Liability - We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings during the workshop. By participating, you agree to assume full responsibility for your actions.
